Travel to Valdez, AK June 29th-30th

June 29th - Going by Kluane Lake via the Alaska Highway

Kluane Lake was very dry with what appeared to be major evaporation occurring,
but it was just dust being uplifted by the wind

More views as we head up the Alaska Highway

Back in the distance is Kloo Lake in the Yukon
The mountains look like they have whip cream tops (but just more clouds)
Grizzlies at play

June 30th Tok, AK to Valdez
As we made our way to Valdez on the Tok Cutoff or Glen Highway it was about moose viewing
Ever changing road conditions were slow especially from Tok to Glenallen.
The pavement consisted of frost heaves (where the mounds are created from expansions
of freezing water and make the road very uneven), gravel, and chip rock.

Valdez, AK is behind the mountain

The Worthington Glacier is a 5,774-acre valley glacier located adjacent to Thompson Pass
Into the fog (driving in the clouds) at Thompson Pass
