Travel to Muncho Lake
July 17th & 18th
Wild buffalo along the roadside

On our way to Muncho Lake about 100 miles north, we must have seen over a dozen black bears

This is the first time we have ever seen a porcupine and he raised his quills at us as we past by in the RV

Laird River leading us south to Muncho Lake

Drone view looking to the north end of the lake

Drone view looking south with a view of the lake shore camping

All kinds of rock sheep and their babies...not scared of traffic

Caribou heards along the road by the campground

Sunset reflecting off the east mountains

Another view of Laird River

So we ordered a raspberry and a mango drink to go with lunch at Coal River Lodge, who knew they had vodka in them too.

To day we took the motorcycle out to grab lunch and look for bears with cubbies, success. we saw 8 black bears with 3 cubs.

Kitties had the chance to watch birdies on the shore today, what a treat!

Happy hour at the shore behind the RV. Sunshine and mid-60s for the temperature

We stopped to watch this bear and noticed after a while she didn't have just one cub but two. She also gave us a "standing ovation"...must of been because we were on the Harley!

Heading south to Jasper

This pictured doesn't do Toad River justice...it's glacier green/blue

Road construction (along Yellowhead Highway), once again covering the RV and Jeep in mud

North entrance to Jasper National Park

Mountains all around in Jasper

Enjoying the Canadian Rockies as we ride through Jasper NP

Just beautiful, it was raining all the way up to Jasper NP and then the sun came out to give us some great pictures
