Travel to Muncho Lake
July 17th & 18th

On our way to Muncho Lake about 100 miles north, we must have seen over a dozen black bears

This is the first time we have ever seen a porcupine and he raised his quills at us as we past by in the RV

So we ordered a raspberry and a mango drink to go with lunch at Coal River Lodge, who knew they had vodka in them too. 

To day we took the motorcycle out to grab lunch and look for bears with cubbies, success. we saw 8 black bears with 3 cubs.


Kitties had the chance to watch birdies on the shore today, what a treat!

We stopped to watch this bear and noticed after a while she didn't have just one cub but two. She also gave us a "standing ovation"...must of been because we were on the Harley!

Sturgis Aug 1st - 5th

August 1st Heading to Sturgis 78th Motorcycle Rally (camping in Rapid City, SD) Today after getting to Rapid City we took a ride to the Needles Highway—a National Scenic Byway, it includes 14 miles of sharp turns, low tunnels and impressive granite spires.
